| The clubhouse features artwork by Richard Salgado, a Native American local artist and member of the Cahuilla Tribe. Mr. Salgado was commissioned to create a fresco which adorns the upper section of the walls in the Grille. The fresco illustrates picturesque landscapes of the Indian Canyons. Mr. Salgado is one of only a handful of artisans in the United States painting frescos with the classic “old world” techniques of true “high fresco”. He has replicated the older masters’ method of fresco including importing the gesso materials from Italy. |
